For optimal performance and safety, we recommend using a 3S LiPo battery with a capacity under 5000mAh. While the system can technically run on 4S, the80A ESC is not officially rated or recommended for 4S use. Using 4S may trigger overheating protection, voids the warranty, and risks damaging the electronics. If you choose to use 4S, ensure proper cooling and use high-discharge rate (25-30C) tires rated for the extreme centrifugal forces.
For the best handling and durability:
Binding Sequence: Always turn ON the transmitter first, then power ON the ESC/receiver in the vehicle. (For older models, the headlights and fan with new connectors also need to be replaced.)
Low-Voltage Protection (LVP): The ESC's LVP is set at approximately 3.2V per cell. When the battery voltage reaches this point, the LED light bar will start blinking slowly as a warning. If the voltage continues to drop below 3.0V, the ESC will automatically cut power and shut down the vehicle after about 20 seconds to prevent over-discharging and damaging your LiPo battery.
The X27 is equipped with a 3660 brushless motor paired with an 80A ESC. This combination delivers a peak power output of 680W on 2S and 1020W on 3S LiPo batteries, providing explosive acceleration and top speed.
